The super-capacitor series developed by Guangxi Aerospace Beidou uses the patented technology to synthesize the rare metal super-capacitor and Lithium battery pack into a new type of energy storage device.
The Power Control Unit coordinates the combination of the battery and super-capacitor to synergize the two types of energy storage performance. The complementary advantage of both entities provides instantaneous power of bursting and has the high energy density storage, low cost, high energy density, high energy storage, long cycle life and ability to adapt in extreme environmental conditions.
It overcomes the defects of conventional batteries such as unsatisfactory charge-discharge characteristics with large current, poor tolerance to over-charge and over-discharge, and the need for fine management and protection system. It has advantages such as fast charge-discharge speed, stable voltage, good resistance to high temperature and low temperature, energy savings and emission reduction, and extended range capability.
This patented technology series results (by the Institute of National Professional Testing), has been reported to the National Development and Reform Commission department of Electric Power Safety Supervision, Support and Affirmation.
